Prior to developing Touchstone™, we were aware that web-based proposal management tools existed and investigated options.
The problem was, the products that were in the market were expensive and they weren’t very flexible. They took a one-size-fits-all approach. The market-facing elements (the part any submitter or any consumer visiting that part of a brand’s website would see) couldn’t be adapted to the look and feel of the client’s brand (not only in terms of tone, but right down to the font and the layout of the information presented). Typically, the user interface was clumsy and not very intuitive.
Further, the sponsorship management tools that existed in the market were very obviously created by software companies. Touchstone™ has been created by Desperado Marketing, a sponsorship marketing agency with many years of experience in reviewing, evaluating and responding to sponsorship proposals, working in conjunction with software experts.
